The WSOF 7 weigh-ins took place earlier today at the Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby, BC. All fighters – from main eventers Lance Palmer and Georgi Karakhanyan, to Micah Brakefield and Brendan Kornberger in the opening bout of the prelims – were on weight.

Notes from the Live Weigh-Ins
- WSOF’s on-site director lectured all the fighters to not take any medications on fight day, in order to avoid a fight cancellation like the one suffered by Elvis Mutapcic in New Jersey earlier this year.
- Lance Palmer had his wrestling coach from St. Edward’s High School with him.
- Jesse Taylor left after getting his medicals done in order to rehydrate via IV. His coaches told me that they’ve never seen anybody able to cut weight the way Taylor does.
- Overheard a fighter telling someone that the BC Athletic Commission had lost his paperwork. The fighter had kept photocopies in the event of this happening, and was able to prove his licensing.
