Forrest Griffin To Train At AKA?

Forrest Griffin has put together quite the column for Yahoo! Sports. In the piece he chats about his cat, his wife, his upcoming child and much much more. This is the first blog entitled “Forrest’s Fire” leading up to his fight against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 134.

One thing that really stuck out was that the man who seems like he is a training machine states “I ain’t got it figured out when it comes to training and training camps.”

It doesn’t say whether this happened for his upcoming fight at UFC 134 against “Shogun”, but it looks like Griffin would like to step away from Xtreme Couture for a bit and train elsewhere. “Maybe to AKA or somewhere where there are a lot of guys slightly smaller than me.”

He seems as if he is doing well for himself outside the octagon and you can check out that part of the article at Yahoo! Sports.

As for the not figuring out the training camps and moving elsewhere to train, what do you think? Is he just kidding as usual? Does he feel AKA has something that Xtreme does not? Comment below.
