Video: Urijah Faber won’t allow Renan Barao to slow the pace

At UFC 169, Urijah Faber will step in on just three-weeks notice to take on Renan Barao for the UFC bantamweight championship.

On Friday’s episode of AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA, Faber talked about his mindset and strategy going into his upcoming UFC Bantamweight Championship fight Feb. 1, a rematch with Renan Barao.

“I feel like Barao’s done a great job, especially in his last couple of fights, of being the well-rounded fighter. You’ve seen him take the fight to the ground, use his wrestling, use his jiu-jitsu. Against me, he was able to slow the pace down, and I’m not going to let him do that this time.”
