The Ultimate Fighter Season 19 competitor Cathal Pendred may not have garnered a lot of love in the house after getting a bye in the preliminaries, but this image will be sure to win over some of his detractors. Earlier today, the former Cage Warriors welterweight champ took the time to aid an injured baby dolphin. He would then upload an image from the rescue to his facebook, with the following caption.
“I just spent an hour in the sea at Doonbeg trying to save a baby dolphin. He was very hurt, but alive and well now!
A proud moment.”

While many MMA fighters are animal lovers, Pendred has still gone above and beyond the call of duty to help a distressed member of the wild kingdom. So kudos to him for that.
