A middleweight match-up has been added to UFC Fight Night 53 in Stockholm, Sweden as hometown boy Tor Troeng takes on Krzysztof Jotko.
UFC officials have yet to announce the bout, but MMASucka.com has confirmed the bout with numerous sources.
Troeng (16-6-1) won his UFC debut against Adam Cella at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in April 2013. Since then he has lost two in a row, both decision losses to Rafael Natal and most recently Trevor Smith.
Jotko (14-1) made his UFC debut in December 2013 against Bruno Santos at UFC Fight Night 33 where he won a unanimous decision. After going 14-0, Jotko lost for the first time in his most recent outing against Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night 41 in May.
No word as to where Troeng vs. Jotko will be placed on the UFC Fight Night 53 fight card. The entire event will air exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
UFC Fight Night 53 goes down on October 4 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. The main event is a welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story.
