UFC headed to Austin, TX for UFC Fight Night 57 on Nov. 22

The UFC has scratched the Instanbul, a city in Turkey, event and instead they are headed back to Austin, TX for UFC Fight Night 57.  The event will take place at the Frank Erwin Center which holds 16,000 people on November 22nd.

The event was announced on tonight’s edition of the UFC’s official weekly news show, UFC Tonight.

The event is expected to air on the FOX Sports 1 broadcast, and will include Fight Pass prelims.

No fights for UFC Fight Night 57 have been announced.

This will mark the ninth time the UFC has been in Texas, and the second time in the city of Austin.  Nate Marquardt and Rousimar Palhares headlined the first event in Austin, in 2010, also at the Frank Erwin Center.

More information on UFC Fight Night 57 will come in the next few weeks.
