Matt Wiman makes return at UFC Fight Night 57 in Austin, faces Isaac Vallie-Flagg

Matt Wiman is set to fight Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC Fight Night 57 in his return to the Octagon and his first fight in almost 2 years.  UFC officials announcement the matchup on Wednesday.

Wiman last fought and suffered a knockout loss to T.J. Grant at UFC on FOX 6 in January 2013.  That broke a two fight winning streak, which a finish and decision over Paul Sass and Mac Danzig earned him two post-fight bonuses.

Vallie-Flagg was last seen in the UFC 172 ‘Fight of the Night’ when he lost to Takanori Gomi via decision in April earlier this year.  Following a split-decision victory over Yves Edwards in his UFC debut in February 2013, he has now lost two straight and could be fighting for his job.

UFC Fight Night 57 takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on November 22.
