WSOF 13 took place on Saturday night from the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa.
Marlon Moraes squared off with Cody Bollinger in the main event, however it wasn’t for the 135-pound title, due to Bollinger being a late replacement for number one contender Josh Hill.

Winners
Marlon Moraes: Marlon Moraes came into this fight as being widely considered as one of the best bantamweights not in the UFC. Moraes was originally supposed to put his bantamweight title on the line against Josh Hill, but that changed once Hill had to pull out of the fight due to injury. Stepping in for Josh Hill was fellow Ultimate Fighter alum Cody Bollinger. The bout was set at a catchweight of 140lbs due to it being on such short notice as well as Bollinger recently deciding to make the move up to 145 after weight cutting issues in his last few fights. Moraes absolutely dominated the fight and sunk in a rear naked choke that forced Bollinger to tap at 1:35 of Round 2. Moraes extended his WSOF winning streak to six as well as his overall winning streak to eight. In the post fight interview, Moraes made sure people were going to talk about him by claiming that he is the best bantamweight on the planet. Moraes, already one of the faces of WSOF, had a fantastic night and only raised his stock in the MMA landscape.
Ozzy Dugulubgov: Ozzy Dugulubgov came into WSOF 13 coming off of a split-decision loss to Jonathan Nunez at WSOF 9. Dugulubgov was facing a 9-2 Keon Caldwell who was also coming off of a loss. The co-main event of WSOF would put someone back on the right track and Dugulubgov made sure it was going to be him. After two full rounds of competition it was very likely that Dugulubgov was ahead on the scorecards, but that was not going to stop him from pursuing the finish. At 1:38 of Round 3, Dugulubgov landed a vicious one-punch knockout of Keon Caldwell. A knockout of this caliber would be impressive against anyone, but it is all the more impressive because Caldwell had never been knocked out before in his career. Dugulubgov was certainly a winner at WSOF 13 and opened the eyes of many.
Losers
Keon Caldwell: Keon Caldwell came into WSOF 13 trying to bounce back from his first round loss against Nick Newell. Caldwell was trying to avoid losing back-to-back fights for the first time in his career. That is not how things would pan out. Caldwell was viciously knocked out for the first time in his career. Caldwell is now on a two fight losing streak having been finished in both fights, one by submission and one by knockout. Caldwell was 9-1 with eight knockouts coming into his WSOF debut and so far his performances have been subpar.
World Series of Fighting: World Series of Fighting held its 13th event in the United States on September 13, 2014 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Although it was a solid night of fights, there was a real issue that was probably not visible to those watching on television. The Sands Bethlehem Event Center seats around 2,250 people and the venue was nowhere near capacity on Saturday night. One side of the arena was much fuller than the other and the camera crew and television producers did a good job of making sure that, that was the side mostly in view during the broadcast. No official numbers have been released on what the attendance was, but it seemed as if it was only around 70% full at best during the main card. Surely, this is not what the World Series of Fighting wants and it could become a major problem down the road.
