Cris Cyborg makes bantamweight debut on December 5

The announcement was made on The UFC Minute Monday morning.

In February Cyborg announced she was planning the drop to bantamweight and now the time has come.

Cyborg (12-1, 1NC) has not fought in a mixed martial arts fight since July 2013. The former Strikeforce champion and Invicta FC featherweight champion has gone undefeated since her professional debut with key victories over Shayna Baszler, Marloes Coenen, Gina Carano and Fiona Muxlow.

Invicta has yet to release details on Cyborg’s opponent or the location of the event.

Invicta FC 10 will take place on December 5 and will air live on UFC Fight Pass.
