Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson re-signs with the UFC

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the re-signing of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson during the UFC Fight Night 58 broadcast on Saturday night.

Jackson (35-11) parted ways with the promotion in 2013 following a three-fight skid with losses to Glover Teixeira, Ryan Bader and Jon Jones.  He then went on to sign with Bellator MMA, and currently rides a three-fight win streak with stoppage wins over Joey Beltran and Christian M’Pumba, and a close decision over Muhammad Lawal.

Many rumors went around the MMA community over the past few weeks, but the signing of the former UFC titleholder wasn’t official until tonight.

Despite now being an official UFC fighter, Jackson is still under contract with Bellator MMA per president Scott Coker:
