Dominick Cruz and Raphael Assuncao out indefinitely with injuries

UFC bantamweight contenders Dominick Cruz and Raphael Assuncao have announced on Monday minutes apart that they have both suffered injuries while training, via social media websites.

Cruz explained on Facebook that he tore his right ACL, which is his third ACL tear of his career, but the first two were on his left knee.  He has no timetable for a return.

Cruz was expected to face T.J. Dillashaw for the 135 lb championship sometime early next year.

Assuncao announced via Twitter that he broke his ankle while training, explaining that his title hopes have come to a pause. The Brazilian also has no timetable for a return.
