James Krause and Valmir Lazaro will square off in a lightweight bout at UFC 184 in Los Angeles.
UFC announced the match-up on Thursday.
James Krause takes on Valmir Lazaro at UFC 184 in Los Angeles
Krause (21-6) is coming off a one-sided decision loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 178 in September. Since making his way to the UFC in 2013, Krause has gone 2-2, with victories over Sam Stout and Jamie Varner.
Lazaro (12-3) lost a decision to James Vick in his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 49 in August. Prior to that loss, Lazaro was riding an outstanding eleven-fight winning streak, dating back to late 2010.
The Krause vs. Lazaro bout will likely take place on the evening’s prelims.
UFC 184 takes place live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Feb. 28, 2015. The card features the middleweight champion Chris Weidman taking on Vitor Belfort in the headliner, and in the co-main event UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey takes on Cat Zingano.
