Anthony Johnson:

Anthony Johnson came into UFC on FOX 14 with an 8-fight winning streak and a 2-0 record in his second UFC run. ‘Rumble’ was set to take on Alexander ‘The Mauler’ Gustafsson in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden to determine the number one contender. In what was an absolutely shocking moment, Johnson was able to silence the crowd and defeat the Swede in front of his hometown with a TKO at 2:15 of Round 1. ‘Rumble’ continued his destruction of the light heavyweight division with another statement made. The former welterweight will now take on the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world and the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones.

Gegard Mousasi:

Gegard Mousasi was set to take on MMA legend Dan Henderson at UFC on FOX 14. Mousasi was looking to bounce back from a loss to ‘Jacare’ Souza and get right back in the mix of possible title contenders for later this year. Although the favorite coming into the fight, many were probably surprised in the way that the fight would go down. Mousasi caught ‘Hendo’ early and was able to pick up the TKO victory at 1:10 of Round 1. It was the fastest anyone has beaten Dan Henderson and it was certainly a statement made by the Dutchman.

Akira Corassani:

Akira Corassani and Sam Sicilia were both in a must win situation coming into their fight at UFC on FOX 14. Corassani was set to fight in front of his home crowd in Stockholm, Sweden for the second straight time. Just like last time, the night would not go the way he had hoped. The Swede was viciously knocked out at 3:26 of Round 1. Although usually in exciting fights this may be the end of his current UFC stint.

Andy Ogle:

Andy Ogle entered UFC on FOX 14 in a must win situation as he was riding a 3-fight losing streak. Ogle was set to take on promotional newcomer Makwan Amirkhani. ‘The Ultimate Fighter 15’ alum had a newfound confidence coming into this fight due to joining Urijah Faber’s world-renowned MMA gym Team Alpha Male. Unfortunately, Ogle was never able to display anything he may have gotten better at because the fight lasted all of 8-seconds. ‘The Little Axe’ was hit with a flying knee right from the start and was finished seconds later. Although Joe Rogan expressed his displeasure in the stoppage, it was the right decision and the ref saved Ogle from taking any more unnecessary damage. Now with a 1-5 record in the UFC, it is very likely that was Ogle’s last fight in the octagon at least for the time being.
