UFC 189 breaks pre-sale record

 

At the UFC 189 World Championship Tour in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Friday, UFC President Dana White announced that the highly anticipated UFC 189 has broken UFC 100’s previous pre-sale record.

It topped UFC 100, which was headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir II in 2010, by 55%.

The current gate is seven million.

UFC 189 takes place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 11. In the main event, featherweight king Jose Aldo takes on Conor McGregor. Also, welterweight champ Robbie Lawler defends his belt against Rory MacDonald.
