On Friday it was announced that Yoel Romero was forced out of his UFC on FOX 15 match-up due to a training injury. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will now take on Chris Camozzi on just one week’s notice.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Saturday during the UFC Fight Night 64 broadcast.
Camozzi (21-9) was dropped from the UFC after a four fight losing skid. However, since being cut, Camozzi has gone 2-0 under the Prize FC banner. The Factory X product won the Prize FC middleweight belt and defended it in his next outing. Camozzi holds a 6-6 record inside the Octagon.
Souza (21-3, 1 NC) has picked up four wins in the UFC. He made his debut against Chris Camozzi, and then went on to stop Yushin Okami. Last year, he went to a decision against Francis Carmont. Most recently in the main event of UFC Fight Night 50, he submitted Gegard Mousasi.
Camozzi and Souza fought at UFC on FX 8, with Jacare finishing via submission in the first round.
UFC on FOX 15 takes place from Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on April 18. In the main event, Lyoto Machida takes on Luke Rockhold.
