David Perron takes on Duncan Wilson at BFL 37 on July 25

Perron (7-4) started off his career on a four-fight winning streak. Since then he has bounced back and fourth with wins and losses over his last seven fights. Most recently, “Showtime” took on Ryan Janes at BFL 35 and despite getting the best of Janes in the first round and early part of the second round, Janes was able to take his back and secure the rear-naked choke.

Wilson (7-4) is riding a two-fight winning streak and is 5-1 in his last six outings, with his lone loss coming to Cody Krahn at 185-pounds. “The Heartbreak Kid” holds the Fivestar Fight League 170-pound gold and most recently defended that strap against Aaron Shmyr at Fivestar Fight League 14 in April.

The Perron vs. Wilson bout will take place on the evening’s main card.

BFL 37 takes place on July 25 from the River Rock Casino in Richmond, B.C. Other notable names that are expected to appear on the card are Jeremy Kennedy, Shawn Albrecht and Arjan Bhullar.
