Andrei Arlovski lost the UFC Heavyweight Title in 2006, and for many years it appeared that he would never even be able to view it from within striking distance. It’s amazing what can happen in over the course of 9 years, as Arlovski stepped into the cage with Travis “Hapa” Browne at UFC 187 for a bout with potential title implications. In what could best be described as a fast-paced war within the confines of Las Vegas, NV’s MGM Grand Garden Arena, “The Pitbull” took it to his friend and sometimes training partner, rocking him early and often while surviving a massive hook from the Hawaiian behemoth. Still, the Belarusian would come out on top, punishing Browne along the cage until the referee stopped in, handing Arlovski the 1st round TKO victory.
