Last week, we announced the BFL 37 main event and now the co-main event is set, as middleweight champion Ryan Janes puts his freshly minted title on the line against highly touted prospect Brendan Kornberger.

Ryan Janes takes on Brendan Kornberger at BFL 37
Janes (7-1) lost in his sophomore outing and has since gone on a six-fight winning streak. Janes made his Battlefield Fight League debut against David Perron for the title in his latest outing. After a back and forth tussle, he secured a rear-naked choke to earn the belt.
Kornberger (5-1) lost his last bout, at WSOF 17 against Krasimir Mladenov in January. This was the Ryan MMA fighter’s first blemish on his professional record. Despite being in the sport since 2010, this will be the first time in his career that he has fought more than once in a calendar year.
BFL 37 goes down on July 25 from the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam, B.C. In the main event, Jeremy Kennedy puts his featherweight title up for grabs against fellow undefeated prospect Kyle Nelson.
