Neil Magny has filled in on short notice for UFC welterweight contender Matt Brown to face Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of UFC Fight Night 78 in Mexico later this year.

UFC officials confirmed the news on Tuesday.

Magny got back into the winning column after suffering a submission loss to top welterweight Demian Maia this past August with a split decision win over Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 74 earlier this summer, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Gastelum suffered his first professional loss in UFC 183 this past January to Tyron Woodley, but rebounded successfully with a dominant stoppage win over Nate Marquardt at 185-pounds.

UFC Fight Night 78 takes place live from the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico on Nov. 21.
