Bisping: Belfort is a “hypocrite” and a “dirty scumbag”

The number seven ranked UFC middleweight Michael Bisping has been sidelined since July 18. In his absence, “The Count” has been keeping himself busy talking about fights on FOX Sports’ UFC Tonight, as well as some analyst duty on event nights.

At UFC Fight Night 77, two combatants that Bisping has entered the Octagon against — Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson — did battle in the evening’s main event.

Having fought both of them, the 36-year-old had much to say about them while covering the bout earlier this month.

“There’s no love loss between… I think all three of us,” Bisping told MMASucka.com. “I think we all dislike each other in equal measures.”

Henderson is in Bisping’s good books now, however it seems as though Belfort will never find his way in. Being that Bisping’s fight analysis is broadcast live to the world on FOX Sports he is unable to say some of the things that are on his mind. On Sucka Radio this week, however, Bisping had no trouble piping up and giving his full disclosure on why he dislikes the Brazlian fighter.

“Dan Henderson, I’ve really got nothing against him. Dan is who he is, we fought a long time ago and good for him. Vitor Belfort on the other hand, I don’t really care for Vitor. He’s a great fighter, but he’s such a hypocrite. He’s really just a hypocrite for everything that he stands for and all the bullsh*t that comes out of his mouth and all the preaching about being a good person and a god giving person, when in reality he’s just a fu*king dirty scumbag.

“There you go, there’s your headline — Vitor’s a dirty scumbag.”

Inside the studio, Bisping has to take the hatred out of equation and just tell it as it is, whether he likes it or not.

“On UFC Tonight I was recently talking about that fight and I couldn’t say that. I’ve got to say what the reality of the situation is. [Belfort] is a legendary fighter, he’s a very good fighter, he did this, he did that and he’s a two division champion blah blah blah blah. Personally I don’t care for him very much, but you can’t deny his fighting accolades. As I’ve said, sometimes it’s difficult, but you have to separate yourself from that.”
