BFL 41 adds Perron-Anderson and Tse-Kellerman

The Battlefield Fight League brass have been hard at work putting together a great fight card to kick off the new year. With the announcement of the main event last night, BFL officials told MMASucka.com that they have also added David Perron vs. Chris Anderson in a pivotal welterweight showdown, as well as Kirk Tse vs. Kevin Kellerman for the amateur bantamweight title.

BFL 41 adds Perron-Anderson and Tse-Kellerman

Perron (7-6) is coming into this bout on the worst losing skid of his career — three fights. Upon signing with BFL in mid 2014, “Showtime” has gone 1-3 in his last four outings. He won his debut with the organization against Ryan Ballingall and went on to lose via submission to champ Ryan Janes, and followed up with very close decision losses to Dejan Kajic and Spencer Jebb.

Anderson (1-0) made his debut at BFL 39 in impressive fashion. He fought a very game and experienced Stu Deleurme. After finding himself in a peculiar position early in the fight, Anderson was able to get top position and reign down bombs to earn the first round TKO.

Tse (7-3) is riding a two-fight losing skid against two very dangerous opponents — Craig McLean and Cole Smith. Tse has been a fixture in the BFL cage for the last 5 years and is a fan favorite both in and out of the cage.

Kellerman (4-2) is coming off a big decision victory against Bradley Nicholson at BFL 38. Prior to that win he lost to the late Oliver Evanshen. The Toshido product has fought all six of his bouts inside the BFL cage and has been dangerous in each and every fight.

BFL 41 goes down on January 22, 2016 from the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam, B.C. The main event features a slugfest for the welterweight title between Ash Mashreghi and Curtis Harriott.
