OFFICIAL WEIGHTS FOR ONE: KINGDOM OF KHMER, LOWEN TYNANES AND RASUL YAKHYAEV SET FOR MAIN EVENT BOUT

4 December 2015 – Phnom Penh, Cambodia: The largest sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), announced today that the mixed martial artists competing at ONE: KINGDOM OF KHMER have made weight and are ready for all the action which takes place tomorrow evening, 5 December, at Koh Pich Theatre in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Main event combatants, unbeaten Lowen Tynanes of Ewa Beach, Hawaii and Rasul Yakhyaev of Grozny, Russia both successfully weighed in at the lightweight limit and are set to ignite the action which takes place tomorrow night.

Unbeaten lightweight standout, Lowen Tynanes stated, “It is an honor to visit the beautiful country of Cambodia and to fight for all the fans here. Getting to experience the culture and see the sights is something that I’ll never forget. I am ready to go inside the cage and do what I do best. I know my opponent is really tough, but I’m confident that my skills will be more than enough to handle whatever he brings to the table.”

Main event competitor, Rasul Yakhyaev stated, “The opportunity to fight Lowen Tynanes is huge and one that I simply could not pass up. He is an amazing fighter, with great wrestling and MMA skills. I am happy to be able to test myself against one of the sport’s best fighters. I vow to win tomorrow night, and bring the glory of victory back home!”
