Xiaomi ROAD FC 34 announced for November 19th in China

28 September, 2016 – ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 on 19 November at the 9,400-seat Hebei Gymnasium in Shijiazhuang (石家庄), the capital and largest city of Hebei, China.

Xiaomi ROAD FC 34 announced for November 19th in China

With a population of 10 million, Shijiazhuang is a major northern economic hub that has experienced dramatic growth over the last century. It is home to a vast diversity of industries as well as blessed with stunning natural terrain for outdoor activities.

Two fights are announced to open up Xiaomi ROAD FC 034. China’s beloved behemoth Aorigele (3-3, Jinzheng Pharmaceutical Group) will be back in action against Japan’s warhorse Kawaguchi Yusuke (18-11, Blue Dog Gym), and Bruno Miranda (8-2, Tiger Muay Thai) will look for a rebound versus Kim Seung-Yeon (2-0, Ssabi MMA).

“Heavyweight Supernova” Aorigele is now 2-1 inside the ROAD FC cage. He was a participant in the first Openweight tournament, where he knocked out Kim Jae-Hoon in just 24 seconds, but was on the receiving end of a KO by Choi Hong-Man in the Semifinals. His most recent appearance saw him in a roof-raising knockout win over Bob Sapp.

Kawaguchi “Crusher” Yusuke is a respectable 18-11 in his pro MMA career, having faced the likes of Brett Rogers, Rolles Gracie, and Mariusz Pudzianowski. He is experienced at Openweight, having won the 2008 DEEP Megaton Tournament. Kawaguchi is 0-1 in ROAD FC after a loss to Choi Mu-Bae at the historic ROAD FC in Japan.

Aorigele and Kawaguchi both have heavy hands, so expect a clash of titans in this Openweight battle!

Bruno “Robusto” Miranda is a Muay Thai striker coming off his first loss in ROAD FC to Sasaki Shinji in a title contender bout. He is now 3-1 in ROAD FC with knockouts over Kim Wong-Gi and Lee Kwang-Hee, and a submission of Jung Doo-Jae. Miranda, a finisher, is not familiar with being finished himself, so his rebound match will see him in top form.

Kim “Keyboard Warrior” Seung-Yeon put his money where his mouth is and became the Season 4 winner of the MMA reality TV show “Crying Fist”. His pro MMA career has been exclusively in ROAD FC where he is now 2-0 with KOs over Nandin Erdene and Jung Doo-Jae – in just 30 seconds! Kim is from a karate base, so his exciting and powerful striking has quickly made him a fan favorite.

When Miranda and Kim meet, sparks will fly between these amazing super strikers!

New Wave MMA ROAD FC is the stage where legends shine, rookies thrill, and epic battles are waged that determine the future of MMA. From the pageantry of the grand entrance to the final crunch of the KO, ROAD FC showcases the very best of Mixed Martial Arts sports and entertainment. As we say in Korea, “Fighting!”
