Sean Loeffler speaks out about injury, missing fight

Sean Loeffler has had a long journey making it to the Ultimate Fighting Champion and it seems it’s going to be a little while longer until he gets to fight under the Zuffa, LLC umbrella.

Loeffler sprained his ankle pre-fight and was unable to compete in the biggest fight of his career as a result of it due to fears of it being broken.

Here’s what he had to say about the issue:

“I’m so disappointed. I have worked so hard for this, 12 years as a pro trying to get into the UFC. To come this close, just one hour away, for a dumb accident to happen is hard to take. I was bouncing around warming up and landed bad on one ankle. I tried to tell everyone I was fine but it swelled up and the doctor told me I can’t fight. I hope I get another chance soon but right now I can’t believe this has happened.”
