UFC on FX 4 scores five-rounds of Guida vs. Maynard

Who doesn’t love lightweight match-making? Give me five-rounds of just about any 155-pound combination and you have magic, that’s what we got here.

UFC.com confirmed that a lightweight pairing of Gray Maynard and Clay Guida will receive top billing for their return to Atlantic City on June 22.

Maynard looks to return from his lone career defeat, his unsuccessful bid to win the UFC lightweight title from Frankie Edgar after leaving his former home at Xtreme Couture to work with American Kickboxing Academy and Brazil’s lead camp Nova Uniao.

Guida also fell short in his last bout to current lightweight kingpin Benson Henderson, the wild-haired fan-favorite snapped his four-bout win streak but looks to get back on track with a victory over a former title-challenger.
