Kazuyuki Fujita returns at HEAT 41

Fujita (15-13) has lost seven-straight since 2008. The 47-year-old returned from a three-year absence in 2016 after signing with RIZIN Fighting Federation. He made his debut against heavy-hitting young-gun; Jiri Prochazka. Prochazka stopped him in the first round.

Five months later Fujita returned to the RIZIN ring and faced Baruto in the heavyweight grand-prix, losing via unanimous decision. He then took 14-months off and returned last month to face Aorigele at ROAD FC 44. Fujita was stopped in less than two minutes.

Sang Soo Lee (17-11-1) enters the fight with a Japanese legend having won four of his last eight bouts. After losing two-straight fights in 2011-2012, Lee returned to MMA late last year after four years away. He faced Roque Martinez at TOP FC 12, the two fought to a majority draw.

In July of this year, Lee faced heavy-handed Bob Armstrong. The South Korean handed Armstrong his third-straight loss, winning the vacant HEAT Heavyweight Championship in the process.

HEAT 41 is set to take place on December 23 at the Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

Henrique Shiguemoto (11-3-1) will also fight on the card. The longtime HEAT Middleweight Champion will face Jun Yong Park (6-3). Shiguemoto enters the contest having won six-straight, five by knockout.

“The Black Samurai” Alan Baudot (6-1) will look to defend his HEAT Light Heavyweight Championship vs. Da Un Jung (6-2). Baudot enters the fight having lost an EFC Light Heavyweight Championship opportunity in July.

Streaking HEAT Flyweight Champion; Takeshi Kasugai (22-4-1, 1NC) returns having won seven-straight to face undefeated Russian Azamat Kerefov (6-0).

Also on the card; a kickboxing fight between Mariya Suzuki and Yaika Emiko.
