Patrick “The Predator” Cote wins fourth straight at Amazon Forest Combat 2 (video)

Patrick Cote made a huge statement with his win over Gustavo “Ximu” Machado last night at Amazon Forest Combat 2 in Brazil.

Cote knocked out the Gracie Combat Team fighter in vintage predator fashion starting with an overhand right to floor the Brazilian, and ground and pound to finish.

Cote was cut from the UFC in 2010 after losing three in a row including his Middleweight title fight against Anderson Silva that ended due to an unfortunate knee injury during the fight. Out of the UFC he has put together a strong string of 4 wins, including wins over former UFC fighters Todd Brown and Kalib Starnes, which may be enough to earn him an invite to MMA’s premier league.

How about a nice undercard spot on the upcoming UFC 149 in Calgary to bolster the Canadian representation on the card?  Canadians keep your fingers crossed!
