A1 Combat 2 Results

Less than a month after its inaugural show, Urijah Faber‘s A1 Combat returns this weekend with two cards, the first of which comes tonight. A1 Combat 2 goes down live from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Sacramento, California. Two champions will be crowned at the top of the card, as both the inaugural bantamweight and middleweight champions will be determined in the main and co-main event respectively.

For the bantamweight main event, the undefeated Payton Talbott will battle Combate Global veteran Hector Fajardo. Across four amateur fights and two professional fights, Talbott has finished every fight to date. He will face a sizable step up in competition against Team Alpha Male’s “El Matador” Fajardo, who had his unblemished 4-0 record broken by back-to-back decision losses to Leo Muniz last year under the aforementioned Combate Global banner.

The middleweight co-main event sees TUF 29 alum and CFFC vet Aaron Phillips face Dana White’s Contender Series alum Randall “Buddy” Wallace. After back-to-back stoppage losses at CFFC 90 to Collin Huckbody and the opening round of TUF 29 to Andre Petroski, “The Alaskan Bull Worm” Phillips rebounded with a decision victory last November to get back on track. Wallace, meanwhile, returns from almost three years of inactivity, when he broke a four-fight winless streak against WSOF and Bellator veteran Justin Baesman in their fourth fight.

MMA Sucka has fight fans covered with A1 Combat 2 results, with the preliminary card starting at 7pm ET/4pm PT followed by the main card at 9pm ET/6pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
