Anthony Johnson and Ryan Bader to headline UFC on Fox 18

The next top contender in the UFC’s light heavyweight division may be decided as a match up between top contenders Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Ryan Bader is set to headline the first UFC on Fox card of the new year, January 30th.

Anthony Johnson and Ryan Bader to headline UFC on Fox 18

Announced Wednesday night on “UFC Tonight”, it seems that Anthony Johnson will get his wish in facing Bader as Johnson recently claimed Bader of avoiding him. “Don’t run or hide…” a Facebook post from Johnson read last month as he expressed his desire to meet Bader in the cage.

“Rumble” is coming off a Performance of the Night win against Jimi Manuwa as the former title challenger won via TKO in the second round.

Meanwhile, Bader’s last win in a 5-fight winning streak comes via decision over former Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans at UFC 192.

Johnson vs. Bader is set to headline Saturday January 30th, 2016 from the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
