Anthony Joshua Looks for Greatness Against Joseph Parker

Arguably the best boxer on the planet, heavyweight Anthony Joshua will step back into the squared circle on March 31 against Joseph Parker.

This fight is going to be fireworks, so make sure you get your Joshua Parker free bets in. There are many exiciting offer for bookies here like 18/1 odds by Paddy Power if Joshua beat Parker in Round one or 10/1 by Betfair if both fighters are knocked down. The odds on the fight at this point are Joshua sitting at a 1/10 favorite and Parker a 6/1 underdog.

According to world class boxing trainer Peter Fury, this fight will be no ‘walk in the park’ for Joshua. Fury told this to IFL TV, he also stated that “They may feel they can walk through Joseph Parker but Joseph Parker has some punch power himself.”

Both Joshua and Parker will put their heavyweight world titles on the line. Parker, 26, will put his WBO belt up for grabs, while Joshua, 28, looks to defend his WBA and IBF titles in a winner-takes-all contest.

Joshua (20-0) is undefeated in his professional boxing career. The Ring has the Great Britain native listed as the world’s best active heavyweights. He captured the IBF heavyweight championship in 2016 when he knocked out Charles Martin in the second round. The 28-year-old has gone on to defend that title an impressive four times.

On the other side of the table is New Zealand’s Parker (24-0). He is a true test for Joshua, as he also holds an undefeated record. But one might say that he has not faced the level of competition that the Brit has. Parker fought twice in 2017, earning decision victories over Razvan Cojanu and Hughie Fury.

Joshua vs. Parker goes down on March 31 from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and will be the first fight of 2018 for both competitors. The fight will air live on Showtime in the United States and Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. Fans can check online here for the latest updates on the fight.
