Barnett steamrolls Guelmino with first round victory

In a surprise to no one, Josh Barnett was able to run through Nandor Guelmino like a knife through hot butter and walk away with a submission victory in the first round.

Barnett suffered from a nasty flu that hampered his training, claiming that he didn’t have more than a couple of days of good workouts. Illness failed to affect his performance at all, as Barnett was able to take Guelmino to the mat twice, move to mount and lock in an arm-triangle choke.

The victory gives Barnett nine wins in his last ten fights. In his post-fight interview, Barnett played coy about whether he would join the UFC or make a permanent move to the world of professional wrestling.
