Big Nog Wants To Avenge Loss To Frank Mir

After a very impressive knockout victory over Brendan Schaub in his home country of Brazil, Antonio Minotauro Nogueira has once again put his name in the mix of things in the UFC heavyweight division. Nogueira has his sites set on avenging his loss to Frank Mir, along with fighting in Canada later this year and Japan at some point in the future.

Big Nog sat down with Tatame.com and had this to say…

I’d like to fight Frank Mir, I want to fight UFC Japan. I’d like to fight UFC Canada, which will happen later this year. Fighting Frank Mir is something I’d Love to do. I’m motivated to fight him.

Nogueira is currently 4-2 in the UFC with notable wins over Heath Herring, Tim Sylvia, Randy Couture and most recently Brendan Schaub. Look for him to step up in the division late in 2011.

Sucka’s what are your thoughts on Big Nog taking on Frank Mir? Is it a desirable match? Does he stand a chance? Comment below.
