Brock Lesnar To Be Guest Analyst For UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos

An unfamiliar broadcasting face will join the broadcast team as a guest analyst for Saturday’s UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos. That unfamiliar face is none other than former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. UFC President Dana White announced this news during a media conference call on Wednesday.

This is focused on the heavyweights and the heavyweight championship fight on Saturday night between Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. We’re going to be talking about Alistair Overeem and Brock Lesnar. Overeem will be there, and Brock Lesnar is actually going to be one of the analysts on the show, breaking down the fight. He [defended the title] against Cain Velasquez, and he was supposed to fight Junior dos Santos, so his opinion is interesting.” – transcription thanks to Sherdog.com

Lesnar will take on Alistair Overeem at the end of December to determine who will face the winner of Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos for the heavyweight title. Lesnar was also the last man to face Velasquez when he lost his championship by TKO on October 23 of last year.
