Carlos Condit responds to Rory MacDonald: "I'm in"

This past Saturday night Rory MacDonald put on a dominating performance on FOX TV, as he defeated B.J. Penn by unanimous decision. Following his win, MacDonald called out the only man to defeat him, Carlos Condit.

MacDonald and Condit first met at UFC 115 in MacDonald’s home province of British Columbia. The man who goes by “Ares” was beating Condit for the first two and a half rounds of the fight, until “The Natural Born Killer” pulled off a TKO with just seconds left in the third round.

At the UFC on FOX 5 post-fight press conference MacDonald mentioned why he called out Condit and how he felt about his past performance.

“I was just laying there getting beaten on, my face looked like I was the guy from ‘The Goonies’ after. I was embarrassed, I was embarrassed about my performance and how I held myself. It did a lot of damage and I don’t think I’ve been the same person since, so I want to get that back.”

On last nights episode of ‘UFC Tonight’ on FUEL TV, Condit responded to MacDonald’s challenge with a simple answer.

“I’m in.”

Condit is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 154 in Montreal.
