Cat Zingano doesn’t want to lose title shot, will fight Ronda Rousey with blown ACL

It was announced following Ronda Rousey’s championship fight at UFC 168 against Miesha Tate that she will now defend her title in February against Sara McMann.

The two will tussle in the main event at UFC 170 which coincides with the Olympics.

Rousey and Cat Zingano were expected to coach The Ultimate Fighter and then square off after the show, however an injury forced Zingano out and in stepped Tate.

Zingano went through knee surgery and was expected to still hold her spot as the number one contender for Rousey’s championship. With the news that Rousey will now take on McMann, Zingano took to her official Twitter account to let it be known that shit will fight Rousey injured or not.
