Hey guys, so obviously i'm not going pro yet. I am going to be fighting Ryan Allen on Feb 11th up in Vernon, BC. It will be my 7th fight inside the Battlefield Fight League cage, and my 8th amateur fight. People around here (Vancouver, BC) see that and instantly think it's time to go pro.

Mike Adams takes on Graham Spencer at BFL 13 for Featherweight Title

In the co-main event, two of Canada’s very best featherweights, nearby Kelowna’s Mike Adams (6-0) and Nanaimo’s Graham Spencer (7-1 1NC), will also make a return of sorts to rematch a fight that took place in the very same building in May, 2010. This time, Adams and Spencer will compete for BFL’s vacant 145lb. title!

Battlefield Fight League 12: Aftermath

Battlefield Fight League 12 took place last night at the Vogue Theater on the Granville Street Strip with ten exciting amateur fights, with only one going to the judges. The event was headlined by two intriguing championship fights featuring a rematch of current middleweight champion Micah Brakefield against Jer Kornelsen, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belt Leo Xavier versus Capoeira expert Marco Caffiero for the vacant welterweight championship. As always, Battlefield's crew did their magic behind the scenes to put together a great production with prefight interview videos, and a smoothly run show that enhanced the viewing experience.

This Friday night in Vancouver, BC, Canada is the much anticipated rematch between Micah Brakefield and Jer Kornelsen. This time around however it is for Micah's BFL Amateur Middleweight Championship.

Last night Battlefield Fight League came back to Vancouver to showcase their amateur talent at the historic Vogue Theater on Vancouver’s Granville strip. The promotion brought some interesting fights, new budding talents, and even a little controversy to make some interesting story lines for future events. Here are my best and worse of the evening.

Battlefield Fight League 11 Official Weigh-In Results

Battlefield Fight League is putting on their 11th show on Saturday September 17 at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The main event in this fight features MMASucka's own Road to the Pro's blogger Micah Brakefield in a very tough test against Adam Santos. Santos poses a very big threat as he outweighs Brakefield by almost 65 pounds.

This coming Saturday, July 16 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Battlefield Fight League will be putting on their ninth event titled Quest for Gold. The event name says it all. There will be 2 titles up for grabs, the vacant BFL Featherweight belt and the BFL Amateur Middleweight belt.
