Honolulu, Hawaii - MMASucka was on scene for today's ProElite: Arlovski vs Lopez Weigh-Ins. The fighters took to the scale at The Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.
This event is headlined by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski who is taking on Ray Lopez. Also on the card is former UFC fighters Kendall Grove who will be taking on Joe Riggs.

With all the hype surrounding Saturday’s ProElite return to Hawaii showcasing former UFC Heavyweight champion Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski, you might almost forget about the much anticipated rematch between local boy, Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove and Joe “Diesel” Riggs. I’m not gonna lie, I kind of almost forgot about it too.

Media week for ProElite kicked off today at the Princess Kailulani Hotel in beautiful Waikiki, Hawaii, this afternoon with open training for three of the fighters on the main card: Andrei Arlovski, Kendall "da Spyder" Grove, and Reagan Penn.
Not only is it amazing that the UFC has made it's way back to the city seems like the birthplace of MMA, but it's super cool that they held their open workouts on Copacabana beach in Rio.

It was just under a week ago that the MMA world was shocked by the unfortunate death of Shawn Tompkins. His brother in law and UFC fighter Sam Stout told media that Tompkins died of a heart attack.
Bellator 48 takes place this Saturday night at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. The evening's main card airs on MTV2. The night of fights features Bellator's "Summer Series" featherweight tournament. Also on the card is a non-title fight between Bellator heavyweight champion Cole Konrad and longtime vet Paul Buentello.
