Count on Bisping

“The guy is absolutely delusional. The guy is ridiculous, absolutely retarded. If you look at the guys I have fought, that completely contradicts what he has said. I have fought top guys in Matt Hamill, Rashad Evans, Dan Henderson, Denis Kang, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Miller, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Chris Leben; yeah those are all easy guys anyone could walk through. Mayhem who claims to be a knowledgeable MMA guy doesn’t know his ass from his elbow.”

UFC 140 will be in Toronto on Saturday December 10th at the Air Canada Center. It’s the second foray into what Dana White likes to call the Mecca of MMA. There are seven Canadians competing. Behind the Shirt w/ Marc Wilson #5: Refreshingly New

I am going to make this a short article as I am writing this in advance of being on a nice warm beach by the time you read this... The magic of the interweb! I always wanted to keep this series of articles general and not make it about specific brands or promote any one in particular. However, when you have a rare situation like I experienced this week it needs to be noted when a new company and it's ownership group seem to have their finger on the pulse of what it takes to be successful in this business.

MMASucka One on One With John Makdessi

John Makdessi has fought in the UFC twice now; at UFC 124 and UFC 129. He came up with victories in both. Paul Lazenby talks Illegal Surrey Fight, Bas Rutten Interview, Sonnen and More

Paul "The Mauler" Lazenby is one of the most well-known and respected personalities in Canadian MMA. He recently has found himself in the thick of controversy in the MMA world after breaking a story on an illegal "charity" fight that recently took place in Surrey, BC. The week before, his interview with Bas Rutten where Rutten gave a then-unheard point of view on the Alistair Overeem/Golden Glory situation grabbed headlines on MMA websites throughout cyberspace. Road to the Pro’s: Micah Brakefield #10

Well I successfully defended my Battlefield Fight League middleweight title. It was pretty quick, 40 seconds into the fight I was tightening up a triangle choke, and 1:10 in Jer Kornelsen tapped. It would appear a pretty successful outing. Unless you consider how many mistakes I was able to make in the first few seconds of the fight.

MMASucka One on One with Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall

With a potential flyweight division making its way to the UFC in early 2012, you can bet that Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall will be in line as one of the top contenders for that belt.

Stann or Kennedy On UFC FOX 2 Card?

There could be a spot ready for Brian Stann on January 28th in Chicago, Illinois for the UFC’s first four fight show on FOX. The UFC will most likely announce who will be fighting on that card in the coming days. Nothing is for sure but Brian Stann's involvement would make the most sense. You have a Silver Star Marine who is not only a war hero but a pretty talented fighter. He is somebody the American audience could gravitate to.

Half-Cut Picks: UFC 139 – Shogun vs Hendo

Before we move to my Half-Cut: UFC 139 picks, my beer choice for this event is Pilsner Urquell. The name literally means "pilsner from the original source," making it the only true Pilsner in the world. Experts and judges have given Pilsner Urquell a score of 93 points, which is the highest rating ever given to a pilsner style lager.
