It's been a pretty slow two weeks for me. I've been training a fair amount but have been concentrating more on getting some bills paid before I get back to the grind and head into the next training camp.
It looks like I'm going to be fighting again in November and apparently against Jer Kornelson... again. It's not that I don't think he's worthy of a title shot, or that I'm scared to fight him
When I’m not ranting in my #Just Saying… pieces here on MMASucka.com, I like to do interesting interviews. One fighter that I have been following closely is John “The Natural” Alessio. I was privileged to have a little chit chat with who I believe is one of the best MMA professional athletes to ever come out of Canada.
Well the relaxing time is over and it’s time to get back to work. Two weeks ago I won the amateur Battlefield middleweight title. In the days leading up to the fight I found it weird that I was going to go into a fight and attempt to stand up and box the entire fight. My hands were untested but I was confident.
Okay I’m not smoking from a bong. Maybe sometimes I’m considered a conspiracy theorist; like 9-11 being an inside job and that we are headed towards a One-World Government. That is all true. Look it up. Don’t believe what you see on TV because the corporations control the news. Oh and there is also some conspiracies that happen in the sport of MMA like all of this “Overeem being cut from Strikeforce” business.

I hope that some of the stuff I say will spark conversation and make you send me angry emails. I will leave the tame columns for my weekly newspaper spots.
Well, It’s one week away from Battlefield Fight League 9: Quest for Gold. Our training camp pretty much wrapped up on Sunday with a great class led by Shawn Albrecht and Josh Bohnen.
Before UFC 131 Vancouver Police Chief Jim Chu requested the UFC to pay for extra policing because, according to the Vancouver Courier, residents apparently complained about public urination and rowdy drunks after UFC 115 back in June of 2010.
Jesse Taylor is not in the UFC, but he sure is fighting hard to make a return. Unfortunately the man they call, “JT Money” will be known for his exit from the organization rather than for his overall resume. For those of you who don’t know the story, JT won his way onto the Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale.
I first started reading the “Diary of a Fighter” series on MMASucka.com last summer while in preparation for my first amateur fight. The fighter I was reading up on was Nathan Swayze. A well established amateur fighter whom I had met, and faced at the Tiger Balm Pankration Tournament.
