Frank Mir Predicts Brock Lesnar Will “Easily” Beat Alistair Overeem

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir spoke with ESPN.com earlier this week and made his prediction for the upcoming Heavyweight clash between Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem. His prediction may surprise some; he not only believes his former foe Lesnar will beat Overeem, he believes he will beat him "pretty easily".

Anderson Silva Will Talk About His Fights, Not Ed Soares

First Junior Dos Santos splits with his long time manager Ed Soares, now Anderson Silva is not too pleased with him. I don't know what this says about Soares as a manager, but Silva does not like the way he is speaking about his future and who he will be fighting next. Soares spoke about Anderson possibly fighting Chael Sonnen and he responded quickly that he is the one responsible for his fighting career.

UFC To Bring 3D Pay-Per-Views To Theaters In 2012

UFC announced today that they have partnered with Cinedigm Digital Cinema to bring UFC Pay-Per-Views in 3D to theaters beginning in 2012. The partnership will consist of 4 shows per year, beginning with the Feb. 4, 2012 fight card from Las Vegas, Nevada.

German-born heavyweight Andreas “Big Daddy” Kraniotakes has agreed to step in for what he calls the biggest fight of his career when he takes on former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia in ProElite’s Nov. 5 main event in Moline, Ill. Brazilian striker, and UFC veteran, Pedro Rizzo – Sylvia’s original opponent -- had to withdraw after tearing his left triceps muscle during training.
