This was the promotions final event for their summer series which showcased a feather weight tournament. A two time tournament champion has been crowned, The Heavyweight champion has rounded out his game, And a veteran further attempts to redefine his career.
Battlefield Fight League put on their first ever show in Vernon, BC, this past Saturday, BFL:10 WAR. Featuring an undercard with one pro and two amateur bouts followed by a 7 pro fight main card, it was action packed from start to finish.

It was just under a week ago that the MMA world was shocked by the unfortunate death of Shawn Tompkins. His brother in law and UFC fighter Sam Stout told media that Tompkins died of a heart attack.

They announced that the first event would be on November 12, but it was only rumored that it would take place in Anaheim, California. Today UFC Officials announced that the card will in fact take place in Anaheim and will feature a featherweight bout between Pablo Garza and Dustin Poirer on the under card.
