An injury to Rory MacDonald has caused a shuffle in the UFC 158 fight card. It was announced Monday that MacDonald was forced to withdraw from his co-main event fight against Carlos Condit due to a training injury. With MacDonald out, the UFC moved Johny Hendricks from his bout against Jake Ellenberger up to fight against Condit.
Late Monday, it was announced that a welterweight showdown between Carlos Condit and Johny Hendricks would co-main event UFC 158 as Rory MacDonald was forced to withdraw due to injury.
Rory MacDonald (14-1) went down with a supposed neck injury and had to pull out of his UFC 158 bout with Carlos Condit (28-6). There was no replacement announced...until now.
