Many of MMA's best were on the red carpet for the debut of UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos. Karyn Bryant of MMAHeat.com caught up with the coaches of The Ultimate Fighter Season 14
Los Angeles – History was made last night as the UFC made its broadcast television debut on FOX, and a record audience tuned in as the challenger, Junior dos Santos defeated defending champion Cain Velasquez
Last night was amazing for the UFC, as it was the first time the UFC made their network TV debut. UFC on Fox:Velasquez vs. Dos Santos had a giant build up for a one minute and four second fight where Junior Dos Santos knocked out Cain Velasquez to win the UFC heavyweight championship. Not televised were the preliminary fights, however they were aired on Facebook.com
Following Ben Henderson's victory over Clay Guida at UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos, Dana White announced that he would be up for a title shot. At the post-fight press conference, White announced that Ben Henderson would meet Frankie Edgar for the lightweight title at UFC: Japan February 26, 2012.
It didn't take long for the main event of UFC on Fox to end. One minute and four seconds to be precise. Junior Dos Santos knocked out Cain Velasquez to become the UFC heavyweight
Tonight is the night folks. The UFC is set to make their live television debut with UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos. In the main event which is featured on FOX TV is the heavyweight championship between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos.
At UFC 137 we didn’t do too badly. I had 3 wins 2 losses. I’d say that is pretty respectable. I skipped UFC 138. It was too quick of a turn around and I wanted to save my liver for UFC’s first foray on FOX. Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos for the UFC Heavyweight Title on free television! Doesn’t get any better than that. Maybe if they showed the entire main card on TV that would be better. Not sure what the UFC was thinking.

If you are like many fans you really wish the UFC would have shown at least one more fight on the debut of UFC on Fox this Saturday evening. I myself, would have loved to see Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson live in HD on my big screen TV
