Well, it certainly didn’t take long for Chael Sonnen to make his presence and availability known once again. With the announcement that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira was forced to pull out of his UFC 161 bout with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, it took less than a day for the “American Gangster” to put fingers to keyboard with a message.

Guerrilla jouranlist/Twitterati FrontRow Brian was already pushing for this to happen earlier tonight, so what will Rua have to say in response? What will Joe Silva or Dana White have to say? Well, that remains to be seen, but we do know that this could result in an upgrade to the drawing power of the UFC 161 main card.
UFC 161 is scheduled to take place at Winnipeg, Manitoba’s MPS Centre on Saturday, June 15th. The main event is currently scheduled to be a light heavyweight tilt between Rashad Evans and Dan Henderson. Stay tuned to MMASucka for more on UFC 161 and other UFC events as things develop.
