Chael Sonnen Gets Second Chance Against Anderson Silva

The fans wanted it, however I do not think anyone wanted it as much as Chael Sonnen. Sonnen got his wish and will get a second chance at Anderson Silva’s middleweight championship.

On Wednesday UFC President Dana White confirmed that Anderson Silva will be taking on Chael Sonnen in a much anticipated rematch to their fight at UFC 117. The confirmation came during an appearance on The Jim Rome Show, when Rome asked White straight up if Sonnen would get the rematch he’s been after for months.

It’s the fight that everybody wants to see, people want to see Chael vs. Anderson. Anderson is in this position where he feels like this guy is so disrespectful he doesn’t want to give him a shot, but Anderson will end up fighting Chael Sonnen, The answer is yes.

No date has been set for this fight, but rumors have been set to rest that it will NOT happen at the Super Bowl card in February.
