Charles Oliveira stops Andy Ogle in the third round via submission

The first round was  a one-sided one, with Oliveira showcasing his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prowess on the canvas. The Brazilian scored a takedown early and maneuvered to Ogle’s back, attempting for a Rear-Naked choke submission until the end. But Ogle showed lots of heart and fought through it, ensuring the fight went to the second frame.

Ogle had a huge second frame as he landed a couple of takedowns of his own, and did some damage while he was in full guard and top control. But Oliveira had a near D’Arce choke submission attempt defended well, and ended the round under similar circumstances as the first.

Oliveira, though, used his long limbs to great measure in the third and final stanza as he threw up a Triangle Choke, forcing a quick tap from Ogle.

Final Result: Charles Oliveira def. Andy Ogle via Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 2:40 of Round 3
