Conor McGregor vs. Cole Miller official for UFC Dublin event

July 19, 2014 will mark the return of Conor McGregor and it will be in front of his hometown crowd of Dublin, Ireland against Cole Miller.

UFC officials announced the match-up on Wednesday afternoon.

McGregor (14-2) is riding a ten-fight unbeaten streak and will make his return to the Octagon after almost a one-year hiatus. The Dublin native defeated Max Holloway by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 26. Following the bout, an MRI scan revealed that he had torn his ACL during the fight and would be out of action for up to ten months.

Miller (21-8) has called out a number of fighters after his last two victories, but “Notorious” was number one on his radar. The season 5 Ultimate Fighter contestant is currently on a two-fight winning streak, with his most recent victory coming over Sam Sicilia at UFC Fight Night 35 in January. That fight earned Miller ‘Submission of the Night’ honors.

UFC Fight Night: Dublin will go down on July 19 from The O2 in Dublin, Ireland.
