UFC Fight Night 59 went down at the Garden in Boston, MA tonight, with the main event featuring a featherweight clash between Irish iconoclast Conor McGregor and German kickboxer Denis Siver. While Siver upset “The Notorious'” plans for a sub-2 minute night – even managing to score a brief takedown, he was still little more than a moving target for the Irishman’s scintillating striking. McGregor would eventually score the TKO victory in the 2nd round.
