Contender Series Week 1 – Results

The Tuesday Night Contender Series is back! 

After a successful first season that introduced fan-favorites like Sean O’Malley to the UFC and it’s fanbase, the Contender Series is back with a second season.

Contender Series Week 1 will feature veterans of the Contender Series, ex-NFLers, and highly-touted regional champions.


After winning his fight against Daniel Jolly during the last season of the Contender Series, Alonzo Menifield is back. The LFA veteran hopes to finally earn a UFC contract with an emphatic finish against former Global Proving Ground Light Heavyweight Champion; Dashawn Boatright.

Reigning CES welterweight titleholder Chris Curtis will look to make it six-straight wins when he takes on Cage Titans champion Sean Lally.

Rounding out the main card, CES mainstay Rico DiSciullo looks to make an impression when he faces undefeated bantamweight prospect Montel Jackson. Former CES title-challenger and Cage Titan champion Will “The Brown Bomber” Santiago returns to the cage to face XKO titleholder Kevin “Trail Blazer” Holland.

Finally, in a battle of ex-NFLers, controversial Ole Miss and Carolina Panther alum; Greg Hardy will make his professional MMA debut after going 3-0 as an amateur. He faces former NFL defensive end, Austen Lane.
