This past Tuesday on FUEL TV the debut of “Countdown to UFC 144” aired. The show is the lead up to this Saturday’s giant UFC 144 event, which features Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson in the main event, followed by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Ryan Bader in the co-main event. The countdown show also featured welterweights Jake Shields and local boy Yoshihiro Akiyama, as well as lightweights Anthony Pettis vs. Joe Lauzon.
UFC 144 will be the first time the UFC has been back to Japan since the year 2000.
